These works use chainlink fencing - the typical surrounding barrier of urban sports courts, as a means to add a level of restriction to the surface of the paintings. They are a product of Anthony’s experiences as an athlete and an artist. They are titled "Relief Paintings" as they focus on the point between the finitude of the fence and the infinite possibility of the canvas in relation to the paint and the nature of the mark.
